A face no one had recognized before.
Storm Glenn acquired the damaged team photograph through an estate-sale trail and began investigating the player circled and labeled “Ruth.”

The player marked “Ruth.”
The seated player at lower right is circled and identified in ink. Glenn’s investigation asks whether this is a previously unknown photograph of Babe Ruth at approximately fifteen or sixteen years old.
The photograph’s damage makes the inquiry more difficult, but it also preserves the marks that launched the research.
